  • Close the POS application and then press “Ctrl+Alt+Delete.”

Solution 4: Reinstall QuickBooks Point of Sale as well as .NET Framework

  • Start by uninstalling the QB POS application from your device.
  • Then uninstall the .NET Framework 4.0 and 4.5. Follow this to easily execute the step.

    • Open the control Panel and go to the “Programs & Features” window. Then select Microsoft.
    • Select .NET Framework 4.0 or 4.5, whichever you see on your screen while executing.
    • Now, click on “Uninstall” and then “Next” button.

  • Now, you will have to reinstall the .NET framework 4.5 from the official website of Microsoft.
  • Save the downloaded file on the desktop for easy accessing and then “double-click” on the icon of the file. Post this, follow all the instructions to install the framework.
  • Once done, reboot the device.

The Entitlement Client folder is created by Intuit, and the files are downloaded automatically when you install the QB Point of Sale. But, sometimes, because these files are not correctly downloaded or have got corrupted, then, QuickBooks POS Error Code 100 may appear on the screen. Thus, you need to remove these files to get rid of the error. These files are stored in the C:\ drive and can easily be located and deleted through the following process.

  1. Go to Windows Explorer and then to the C:\ProgramData(x86)\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8.
